Baseball Game Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Jordan Panthers

The San Jacinto Tigers will square off against the Jordan Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Jordan will be up against a hot San Jacinto team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 6-0 shutout on Monday.

For Jordan's part, they got a good showing from Jayden Palayo, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Palayo has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jordan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julian Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
