Volleyball Game Preview: Verrado Vipers vs. Canyon View Jaguars + How To Watch

The Verrado Vipers will head out to square off against the Canyon View Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Verrado extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Baylee Wakeham. The Vipers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Paradise Valley on Monday with plenty of help from Wakeham, who had 30 assists and five digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 16 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Verrado was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Canyon View got the win against Paradise Valley on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-10, 25-21.

Verrado's record now sits at 18-13. As for Canyon View, their record is now 23-10-3.

Verrado suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Canyon View in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Vipers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
