Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Ovilla Christian's Fourth in Last Five Outings

If Cambridge wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Ovilla Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Sophie Henry. The Ovilla Christian Eagles took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 66-13 victory over the Cambridge Lions thanks in part to Henry, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 boards. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ovilla Christian's points.

Another player making a difference was Brenlin Garlitz, who went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Ovilla Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Cambridge, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.
