The Oakridge Eagles will face off against the Shelby Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Oakridge couldn't beat Fremont on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Eagles and the Packers finished up their matchup with a 6-6 tie.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Shelby's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Muskegon on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

With that draw, Oakridge's record moves to 3-5-1. As for Shelby, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2-1.
