Softball Recap: Richmond Wins Going Away Against Forest Hills

Richmond barely beat Forest Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Tigers on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-8 on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Charlotte Crawson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Breonna Dufresne, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The win got Richmond back to even at 3-3. As for Forest Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Richmond is set to take on their familiar foe Telstar at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Forest Hills will face off against rival Carrabec at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
