Pace Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Pace Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Britton McGurn, who had 11 assists and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Emch, who had seven digs and six assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Pace Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southeast Whitfield County only served one.

Pace Academy's victory bumped their record up to 32-7. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-22.

Coming up, Pace Academy will square off against East Forsyth on Saturday. Southeast Whitfield County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
