Recap: Lausanne Collegiate Lynx vs. University School of Jackson Bruins
The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-10 victory over University School of Jackson at home. Considering Lausanne Collegiate has won six matches by more than 33 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was CJ Lowe, who rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Jenkins, who threw for 104 yards and a touchdown.
Lausanne Collegiate's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points per game. As for University School of Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lausanne Collegiate's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Battle Ground Academy at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Battle Ground Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Lausanne Collegiate is ranked 36th). As for University School of Jackson, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lakeway Christian Academy.
