Football Recap: Chester County Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Chester County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They blew past the Memphis East Mustangs 75-8.

Chester County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ethan Burks led the charge by rushing for 49 yards and one score, while also throwing for seven yards and one TD. What's more, Burks racked up 81.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another back making a difference was Izaiah Armstrong, who rushed for 83 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Chester County has already played their next game, a 14-12 loss against Adamsville on the 29th. As for Memphis East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 49-0 defeat against Arlington on the 29th.
