Basketball Recap: High Tech CV's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but High Tech CV ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 59-54 win over the Santana Sultans.

Kyle Ilagan was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 16 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Uri Gomez, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

High Tech CV's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6. As for Santana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

As for Santana, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Central at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Santana surely won't give up without a fight.
