Baseball Recap: Eastern Hancock Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eastern Hancock can now relate to. They came up short against the Heritage Christian Eagles on Saturday, falling 12-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-2 loss on May 10th.

The loss snapped Eastern Hancock's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-15-1 record. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Eastern Hancock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Christian, they will challenge Triton Central at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
