Basketball Recap: Pontiac Comes Up Short

Pontiac's tournament run continued when they took on Lockport on Friday. The Pontiac Indians took a 71-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockport Porters. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pontiac's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lockport, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Pontiac will venture away from home to face off against East Peoria at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Lockport, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-52 loss against Oak Park-River Forest on the 28th.
