Vidalia and Monterey are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. The Vikings will host the Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Vidalia has given up an average of 9.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monterey saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Hitt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hitt also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season.

Vidalia's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Monterey, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
