Soccer Recap: Granger Takes a Loss

After flying high against West on Tuesday, Granger came back down to earth. The Lancers fell just short of the Taylorsville Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Granger were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Taylorsville earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Granger has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Taylorsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Granger will face off against rival Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Taylorsville is set to challenge their familiar foe Hillcrest at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
