Volleyball Recap: Ella Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dothan over Enterprise

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dothan can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Enterprise Wildcats on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss back in September.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ella Brown, who had 11 kills and eight digs. Brown is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last 15 games she's played. Catherine Farmer was another key player, getting 27 assists and three digs.

This is the second loss in a row for Dothan and nudges their season record down to 28-15. As for Enterprise, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-13 record this season.

Dothan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against St. Paul's Episcopal on the 22nd. As for Enterprise, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Bryant on the 22nd.
