Football Recap: Bracken County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bracken County started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Holy Cross. They and the Indians were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but they suffered a 25-24 loss. While the Polar Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Indians 6-0 in the first quarter.

Holy Cross found their leader in sophomore Brian Ferguson, who rushed for 48 yards and two scores.

Bracken County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Holy Cross, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bracken County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Brossart at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Holy Cross, they will take on Clermont Northeastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
