Meanwhile, Manila came up short against Newport on Friday and fell 66-59.

Marmaduke's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-15. As for Manila, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
