Basketball Game Preview: Mitchell Marauders vs. Falcon Falcons

Mitchell is 1-9 against Falcon since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Marauders will square off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m.

Mitchell lost 43-17 to Sierra on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Falcon waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-36 win over the Cardinals. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Cardinals are ranked 228th).

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Falcon, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.

Mitchell was taken down by Falcon 78-23 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Falcons' Cobelyn Wiesner, who shot 42% from the field en route to 33 points along with seven boards and five assists.
