Soccer Recap: Fort Lupton Comes Up Short

After flying high against Arvada on Thursday, Fort Lupton came back down to earth. The Bluedevils fell just short of The Pinnacle by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Fort Lupton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Pinnacle apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Fort Lupton's goal came courtesy of Javier Osuna, who's now up to 14 this season.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for The Pinnacle, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2-1.

Coming up, Fort Lupton will face off against Lake County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Lupton will be up against Lake County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.57 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for The Pinnacle, they will challenge Alameda at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
