Freeport came out on top against Morse on Monday thanks in part to Piper Larochelle's efforts. Larochelle turned in nothing short of a gem, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Larochelle and Freeport will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Yarmouth Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
