Baseball Recap: West Harrison Has No Trouble Against Pass Christian

West Harrison posted their biggest victory since April 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past the Pass Christian Pirates 11-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

Dezi Curley spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit.

At the plate, Reece Parker and Cameron Sandel did most of the damage at the plate: Parker scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Sandel went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. Those four RBI gave Sandel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Gazzier, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

West Harrison now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pass Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Harrison beat Pass Christian by a score of 5-0 on Friday.
