Basketball Game Preview: Nimitz Cougars vs. Cypress Ranch Mustangs

The Nimitz Cougars will square off against the Cypress Ranch Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nimitz is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Nimitz ended up a good deal behind College Park and lost 52-36.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Alayia Hutchinson, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tatiyana Cole, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, Cypress Ranch was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 57-53 to Allen. The loss was the Mustangs' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cypress Ranch fell to 5-1. As for Nimitz, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Nimitz strolled past Cypress Ranch in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 51-36. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
