Football Recap: Loyal/Greenwood Extends Winning Streak to Four

Loyal/Greenwood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Colby Hornets 32-6. While Loyal/Greenwood didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Loyal/Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Colby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Loyal/Greenwood is set to square off against their familiar foe Amherst at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Loyal/Greenwood 9.5, Amherst 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Colby will face off against rival Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
