Baseball Recap: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Paradise Honors Panthers
Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Paradise Honors Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Monday.
Moon Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Michaels, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Andrew Mullavey also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Paradise Honors, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moon Valley will head out to challenge Mingus at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
