Baseball Game Preview: Octorara Area Braves vs. Pequea Valley Braves

Octorara Area will head out on the road to square off against Pequea Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Octorara Area has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 14.

Octorara Area managed to slip by Cocalico the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Braves came up short against the Eagles on Wednesday, falling 9-0.

Northern Lebanon hit Pequea Valley with a nine-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves lost 10-0 to the Vikings. The Braves haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pequea Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Octorara Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Octorara Area was able to grind out a solid victory over Pequea Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, winning 5-1. Does Octorara Area have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pequea Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
