Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rocky Mountain Prep SMART). They walked away with a 50-37 win over the DSST: College View Wolves on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Ocelotls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, DSST: College View still got an impressive performance from Da'Niyah Hickey, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 boards. That was a full 56.8% of DSST: College View's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Norma Dominguez, who put up eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for DSST: College View, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-25 defeat against Denver West on the 31st. DSST: College View has also already played their next game (against Manual), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
