Softball Recap: Waukesha West Takes a Loss

Waukesha West and Wisconsin Lutheran squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Waukesha West had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to the Vikings. The shutout was out of character for the Wolverines seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Waukesha West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

Waukesha West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Hamilton on the 5th.
