Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Fe Indian). They blew past the Santa Fe Prep Blue Griffins 77-4 on Thursday. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Blue Griffins are ranked 143rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Santa Fe Indian pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points per game. As for Santa Fe Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
