Kaukauna faced Notre Dame Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Galloping Ghosts blew past the Tritons 3-0. The Galloping Ghosts haven't had any issues with the Tritons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Notre Dame Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

Maverik Kelderman paced Kaukauna's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kelderman got some help from Sam Hussin and his 37 assists. Donovan Waters controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kaukauna now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Notre Dame Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
