 Moody proved they can win big  last Monday (they won by nine) but  in their first game  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Marbury Bulldogs out  3-1.
 Moody's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Abi Gray, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Moody's victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 15-12. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs per game. As for Marbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
 Moody didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  4-2  win vs. Calera on the 12th. As for Marbury, they are on the road again  on Monday to play Auburn at 7:00  p.m.
