Soccer Game Preview: Meadowbrook Christian vs. Montgomery

Meadowbrook Christian and Montgomery are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2020, but likely not for long. Meadowbrook Christian will head out to square off against Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Meadowbrook Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to eight goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Muncy on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. Meadowbrook Christian hasn't had much luck with Muncy recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montgomery). They put the hurt on Williams Valley with a sharp 8-1 victory on Tuesday. With Montgomery ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Meadowbrook Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Meadowbrook Christian couldn't quite get it done against Montgomery in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 4-2. Can Meadowbrook Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
