Basketball Game Preview: Meadow Bridge Wildcats vs. Richwood Lumberjacks

The Meadow Bridge Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Richwood Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meadow Bridge is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Meadow Bridge came up short against Mount View and fell 44-37.

Meadow Bridge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kierston Rozell, who went 7 of 11 en route to 21 points along with five assists and three steals, and Kaitlyn Cooper, who posted eight points and three steals. That's the most assists Rozell has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Richwood had to suffer through a 58-16 loss at the hands of Notre Dame. The game marked the Lumberjacks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meadow Bridge now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Richwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Meadow Bridge strolled past Richwood in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 32-18. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meadow Bridge since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
