It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but DeLand had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They put the hurt on the University Titans with a sharp 4-1 victory. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three goals.

The win was the third in a row for DeLand, bringing their record for this year to 8-9-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for University, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-3 record this season.

DeLand will face off against Spruce Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spruce Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
