Baseball Game Preview: Agua Dulce Longhorns vs. Shiner Comanches

The Agua Dulce Longhorns will head out on the road to face off against the Shiner Comanches at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Agua Dulce fell victim to Poth and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Shiner waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Comanches have won seven contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carson Schuette was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Cauy Herman was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Shiner's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Agua Dulce, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
