Wayzata and DeLaSalle are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Wayzata Trojans will be playing at home against the DeLaSalle Islanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wayzata is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Minnesota's top teams: St. Michael-Albertville, who was ranked 20th at the time (Wayzata was ranked second). Wayzata took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 90-59 victory over St. Michael-Albertville. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, DeLaSalle was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Brooklyn Center 87-43.

Wayzata's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for DeLaSalle, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4.

Wayzata won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February of 2024, slipping by DeLaSalle 63-62. Will Wayzata repeat their success, or does DeLaSalle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
