Holy Cross came tearing into Saturday's contest with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the SA S Saints by a score of 2-0. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Holy Cross' offense was headlined by Mia Garcia and Ariel Bosmans, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Jazmyn Reyes and her 11 assists. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Lilianna Ibarra, racking up two apiece.

Holy Cross' win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for SA S, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will venture away from home to challenge Lytle at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for SA S, they will head out to take on Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
