Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Triad walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Marion Wildcats on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Triad, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Marion with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alina Ayran (3), London Looby, Claire Gough, and Emma Correale.

Triad is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matchups. As for Marion, they moved to 15-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Triad wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-0 victory against Waterloo on the 30th. Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
