Homer came into Thursday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Richwood Rams on Thursday as the Homer Pelicans made off with a 19-5 win. The Pelicans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Homer's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Richwood, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
