Baseball Game Preview: Guntersville Wildcats vs. Arab Knights

For the second straight game, Guntersville will face off against Arab. The Wildcats will welcome the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Guntersville didn't have quite enough to beat Arab and fell 3-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Arab's part, the team relied heavily on Eric Dawkins, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Noah Mann, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The win was the fifth in a row for Arab, bringing their record up to 18-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Guntersville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-14.
