Total of 47 teams begin next year with 20 or more straight wins.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, Pa.) finished the 2021-22 season with the longest active high school boys basketball win streak in the nation. The Chargers will begin next year with an eye on the Pennsylvania state record for longest win streaks.

They're tied with West Philadelphia for the Keystone State's longest winning streak at 68. The Chargers also are tied for 44th place on the all-time list of longest win streaks. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart is also 19 wins ahead of Weddington (Matthews, N.C.), owner of the second-longest win streak in the nation at 49 in a row.

The only other team with more than 40 wins in a row is Bristol Central, which begins the 2022-23 season with 42 in a row. A total of 47 schools finished the current school year with 20 or more wins.
Weddington won the North Carolina 4A title and enters next season rising a 49-game win streak, second-longest in the nation.
