Softball Game Preview: New Castle Trojans vs. Pendleton Heights Arabians

New Castle hasn't had much luck against Pendleton Heights recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will face off against the Arabians at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

New Castle lost 13-3 to Yorktown on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pendleton Heights didn't have quite enough to beat Silver Creek on Saturday and fell 6-5.

Pendleton Heights saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erin Davis, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

New Castle's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pendleton Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

New Castle might still be hurting after the 14-0 defeat they got from Pendleton Heights when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
