Basketball Recap: Fellowship Baptist Academy Gets the Win

If Creative Technologies Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Fellowship Baptist Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Alexander Rodriguez. The Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons took their match on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 65-21 victory over Creative Technologies Academy thanks in part to Rodriguez, who shot 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 32 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Thompson, who posted five points and three steals. Thompson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

The win got Fellowship Baptist Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Creative Technologies Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fellowship Baptist Academy will welcome Immanuel Baptist at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Creative Technologies Academy, they will square off against West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Michigan Academy of Environmental Science is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.2 points per game this season.
