Basketball Game Preview: Webster Bearcats vs. Redfield Pheasants

Webster and Redfield are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Webster Bearcats will be playing at home against the Redfield Pheasants at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Redfield took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Webster, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Webster duked it out withGreat Plains Lutheran on Tuesday. Webster took down Great Plains Lutheran 48-34.

Meanwhile, Redfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] on the road by a 44-27 margin.

Redfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Webster, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Webster beat Redfield 49-41 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Webster repeat their success, or does Redfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
