Football Recap: Mount Paran Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mount Paran Christian can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Eli Hewatt threw for 130 yards and one touchdown. Kobe Fleming was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards. On the ground, Gavin Steele rushed for 35 yards.

Holy Innocents Episcopal got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Woods out in front who threw for 174 yards and four TDs on only 12 passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Denim Stevens helped Woods out on the ground, rushing for 134 yards and one touchdown.

Mount Paran Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
