Broadwater Academy put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They blew past the Chincoteague Ponies 10-0. Considering the Vikings have won seven matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Ramsey Revelle was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Miranda Smith was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kacey Ford, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
