Basketball Recap: Fayetteville's Losing Streak Snapped at 12 Games

Fayetteville needed a changed in momentum after dropping 12 straight games and they got it from JB Buttram. The Fayetteville Wolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 win over the Alabama School for the Deaf Silent Warriors on Tuesday thanks in part to Buttram, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played.

Fayetteville's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

Fayetteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alabama School for the Deaf, they will venture away from home to take on Jacksonville Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jacksonville Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season.
