Princeton is 8-2 against Middletown since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will be home for the holidays to greet the Middies at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Middletown will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Princeton extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Vikings blew past Lakota East 62-37. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Thunderhawks are ranked 93rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown). They put the hurt on Colerain with a sharp 75-52 win on Tuesday.

Middletown's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Princeton, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Princeton was able to grind out a solid victory over Middletown when the teams last played back in February, winning 60-52. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Middies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
