Basketball Recap: Chelsey Cate Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Christian Center

After losing to Christian Center the last time they met, North Idaho Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The North Idaho Christian Royals strolled past Christian Center with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 52-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

North Idaho Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chelsey Cate led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. Cate is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least ten every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Brotherton, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

North Idaho Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Christian Center, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

North Idaho Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pullman Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christian Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
