Volleyball Recap: Holy Innocents Episcopal Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Holy Innocents Episcopal, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Carver Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Bears as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Holy Innocents Episcopal took both sets by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-6.

Rylee Swain paced Holy Innocents Episcopal's offense, picking up four kills. Swain were helped by Lilah Smith and Amara Donnelly, who contributed seven assists each. Harley Ward controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The win got Holy Innocents Episcopal back to even at 14-14. As for Carver, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
