If Damonte Ranch wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played McQueen, they should've done a better job of containing Nason Rodriguez. The Lancers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Mustangs 44-6 with plenty of help from Rodriguez, who rushed for 208 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

McQueen's defense made their presence known, laying out Christian Diehl. three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Brooks Porter, Chilly Walker, and Colin Pairis Angier, who each picked up one sack apiece. Porter was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
