Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Afton

Afton extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Aiden Victor. The Afton Eagles blew past the Watts Engineers 66-39 on Saturday thanks in part to Victor, who went 10 for 20 on his way to 29 points and five steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Afton's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Watts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Afton Eagles take on the Fairland Owls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Fairland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. Watts will take on Bokoshe in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
